Beat Monday blues
Normally, I would bitch about my Monday blues. I’m really not crazy about the idea of facing another work week. But then I reminded myself that I should choose to be happy about it. I think about the positive things and pray that tomorrow will be a great day.
Here are some ways that could help you beat the blues:
Start the day by saying a gratitude prayer.
Be thankful for the blessings that you have. Skip worrying and stressing yourself out and forget about the unpleasant things or people in your workplace.
Stretch those muscles. Go for a brisk walk in your neighborhood or just hop on the treadmill for a few minutes. It will boost your energy and prepare yourself for the day.
Smile. A smile could definitely make you look and feel better. You can even brighten up somebody else’s day by flashing those pearly whites.
Eat a hearty breakfast. A nice breakfast should improve your concentration and gives you more energy so you could finish all your tasks for the day. Monday breakfast is even better if you share it with someone you love.
Reward yourself. Treat yourself after a long day’s work. If you’re on a diet, you could make Monday your dessert day or something so you’ll look forward to it.
That’s exactly what I’m going to do tomorrow. I’m sure my Monday will be a great day. Hope you’ll enjoy your Mondays too.

@Jude: Glad you liked my post. I did those things today, well the stretching part, hmmm… sukoshi. lol. I wasn’t able to go to the gym because I still have to prepare our lunch. I didn’t reward myself but Ali gave me an almond nougat bar. Yum!
