This morning, I felt like going to the gym so I did. After a few minutes err, seconds of stretching, I decided to hop on the treadmill. I noticed that the machine has some customized settings left by the previous user. As I was resetting it, an old man suddenly pressed the start button, my machine’s start button! I don’t know what got over him, maybe he thought I was a moron fidgeting with the keys and all that he felt the need to press start. He was gone nearly as fast as you could say “walk away” just like the Iron Chefs do when they hear the buzzer! I was left there on the treadmill struggling to keep pace with the fast speed. Good thing I didn’t fell off of it and I managed to quickly press stop. That old man must have thought I’m some wasted kid since I was half awake when I first got there. I was trying to suppress my laughter after that.

thwarted by my aching muscles to get up early, hit the gym and go to work, here i am at home trying to rest and clear my mind. but then ali called telling me to go to the office because i need to sign my rate sheet. you see we are rated every year based on our work performance, ATTENDANCE, and stuff. i just didn’t know we’re going to be rated TODAY. oh well, who knew, right?
