Feel-good movies

Maybe you’d like to see (or see again) these movies during the weekend. In my opinion, these are absolute feel-good movies. Well, not so much with Pay It Forward because it’s quite tragic, but a very good movie nevertheless.

Pay It Forward (2000)
The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
The Replacements (2000)
Glory Road (2006)
Forrest Gump (1994)

All of these films, in one way or another, inspires us to improve our lives as well as others and strive for excellence everything that we do. If you want to add something to the list, I’ll be glad to hear from you. Happy weekend!

I watched Charlotte’s Web with my son the other night and cried my eyes out, but it is a good story. I cry every time though.

Loved Pursuit of Happyness too, although there were times in it that also made me cry.

this is an american classic- and we always watch it at thanksgiving and christmas- never fail to make me cry (maybe sob is a more accurate term)

@Gerri: I haven’t seen Charlotte’s Web but I heard that it was really a nice movie. I added it to my list of movies to watch. Thanks!

@Inna: How was your birthday? I’m sure you had a blast. I’m not really a fan of american classics but I’ll still check it out since it’s you said it’s worth watching during thanksgiving and Christmas.

Charlotte’s Web was a favorite book of mine when I was a child and my son really liked the movie, but being 2 he doesn’t get the whole concept yet.

It is a great movie about promises kept and a friendship that endures. I love Dakota Fanning too. She’s a wonderful little actress, also was in I Am Sam. I loved I Am Sam too. I think that was the first time I had seen her and just fell in love with her talent.
