Flip books - I like!

I enjoy reading watching flip books, you know, those series of pictures creating frame by frame animation.

Check out this Robot Fight flip book from Psalty. He’s got a bunch of other cool flip books he created over at YouTube. I wish I could create my own killer flip book too. *lol*

It makes me remember my high school days. I used to do that with some very simple figures like a bunch of lines for the body and a circle as a head.
But this one is very sophisticated!

way back in highschool, a classmate of mine used to make lots of this flip book animation and he uses helicopters, soldiers and even ninjas as objects for his animation.

Ever watched Windstruck? Yup, the Korean movie where the girl who starred there was also the one who starred in My Sassy Girl. Anyways, the girl’s boyfriend gave her a book which has sketches on it’s edges. And when her boyfriend started flipping the pages, voila! the sketches came to life. :)

Actually, back in elementary, my classmates and I would draw images like athletes running on a track and field oval. It was fun because when you flip those pages, it just look like the images are really running as if they are moving like watching from a television.

I did watch the Koreanovela titled, “Windstruck” that was mentioned and the film is great. I had a DVD copy back then in the office, but I am not too sure who took it from my cubicle. :(

It is all right. I will just have to look and buy a new one.

The drawings? I don’t have them anymore. I left them in my home province. I guess, one day, I would start a flipbook of my own ;)

Hope everything is doing great back there? So how’s your new content editor doing? :)
