stress is a bitch
thwarted by my aching muscles to get up early, hit the gym and go to work, here i am at home trying to rest and clear my mind. but then ali called telling me to go to the office because i need to sign my rate sheet. you see we are rated every year based on our work performance, ATTENDANCE, and stuff. i just didn’t know we’re going to be rated TODAY. oh well, who knew, right? (…)
before i go to the office, i want to share an article from readers digest that i stumbled upon a while ago. here it is: Defuse Stress for a More Enjoyable Day. it shows you a list of 37 ways to calm down fast. I guess each one of us have experienced living stressfully one way or another. i had my fair share of that last year and i’m hoping to handle it better this year. in the article, i especially liked number 4 - Take a deep breath and then try to see yourself in someone else’s shoes; and number 10 - Designate one person to whom you can vent your frustrations; and of course number 26 - Count your blessings once a day. everything there seems simple but for some reason i didn’t get to do much of it before. but i’ll start today. little irritants will always be here and there, i’ll get flustered once in a while, but i can’t let anything or anyone ruin my day. i’m in charge! :)

I am getting ready for our official launches for Office 2007 and Vista (I am onstage for the Tampa and Atlanta keynotes and am stressed to the max). I just want to crack open a bottle of wine, put on some nice soft music, and relaaaaaax
I just read your post about the launch. I’d love to attend but unfortunately I’m here in Manila. :( Maybe you could just send me a free copy of Groove and Office 2007 instead? ;-)
