The Secret (DVD)

What is The Secret? You probably heard about it, a lot of people have. It’s been making headlines and Oprah even dedicated an entire episode of her show to feature this amazing film. Well, in case some of you don’t know, The Secret is actually a 2006 documentary film about The Law of Attraction presented in forms of interview and dramatization of everyday situations that people can easily relate to. I’m really glad that Jude introduced me to this film a few months back. Just a week after that, my mom was asking me if I’ve heard of it because my aunt from NC told her that it’s an inspiring film.

Check out this trailer so you’ll have a better idea of what I’m talking about.

I was finally able to see The Secret a while ago and indeed it was a very inspiring movie. It’s actually described as a self-help film, which featured interviews with quantum physicists, physicians, psychologists, authors, visionaries, entrepreneurs, theologists, etc. To some, it may sound boring as documentaries are boring. Probably skeptics wouldn’t take the time to see it. Negative people may even see it as a joke.

Curiosity actually made me watch it since I’m not into documentaries myself. But I’m glad I did. The Secret is actually not a secret. Everyday we are being told that if we keep a positive attitude, we’ll get to achieve what we want. But sometimes we find that difficult to do, we are distracted, irritated and hovered with negative feelings — which is the complete opposite of what this film is trying to tell us. This film will help you understand better the Law of Attraction. You’ll understand that man becomes what he thinks about and that there’s more than enough good to go around.

I’ll definitely apply the things I’ve learned here to my everyday life. I know it’s not going to be easy, but I know I can do it (positive thinking). Take time to watch The Secret unfold. Some say this film is life changing. Maybe it could change yours.

Hey Ate Xine! Before watching out the trailer, I read your article first. Was trying to see if “The Secret” you’re talking about is “The Secret” I have in mind. It seemed that it was. Only did I believe that it really was it is when I watched the trailer (because of the last scene). :)

I was actually planning on buying the book by Rhonda Byrne. Got intrigued why it’s on the bestseller shelf at Fullybooked, hehehe. I didn’t know it was made into film, well now I know. Hmmm, I’m going to have to watch the movie and read the book, too…

Jo*Rose, it is highly recommended that you do both. I am also planning to buy the book since it is more detailed according to my friend, Rhea.

The Secret is one film I would want my friends to see and apply what the film is trying to convey. :)

    Happy reading and watching.

To Xine, I am glad you did like the film :)

God bless us with all the things that we want to attract ;)

@ali: You can do that sweetie. Law of attraction. See, you got me now. Lol.

@jo rose: hmmm.. maybe I should go get the book too. I think you have to watch the movie from time to time so you’ll be reminded about its message. It’s not that easy especially when you are surrounded by people with negative energy. Having the book is more convenient so you can just flip through whenever you feel like it.

@jude: Thanks again for introducing me to it. It’s really inspiring.

@Chrysalis: thank you jude for introducing this to us.

@jo*rose: jo, you really ought to watch it together with mark. *smiles*

[…] underestimate the power of gratitude, for gratitude attracts what we want. Remember my post about The Secret? The Law of Attraction says that we will attract into our life the things we think about and focus […]
